What script do you use and what mods does it need?

Hey All,

Im looking for ideas for more mods to write for whatever script you use.

So name it and what you want the mod to do.

Im still teaching myself WP, so thats still in the pipeline, but I need to earn some funds to pay bills.

If you have some general coding work, just for your site etc, send me a PM and we can work something out.

I have tried the usuall bunch and they are all OK and each has their own drawbacks. Being in the Banner Exchange biz, I have seen a lot more using WP. I know your still learning it, but I have to say....NICE STUFF! Really impressed with the looks n such. You have to also remeber, WP is one heck (powerful) of a free script.

Heya,

Yeah, I understand WP is the way to go and im on that.

But right now I need to start earning more, so im looking for smaller jobs while im learning.

Im converting some mods for other scripts, but the demand isnt there.

Alot I cannot convert as scripts either, dont have something I need (member system), poor scripting practises (im seeing this more and more)

But people use these scripts and have active sites, so if people need work done, im saying im here to do the work.

If theres not, I will likely have to go back to freelance sites to get some work.

On a side note, I like how things are done on WP, alot of things are simplified, got a few things I need to find out like how you can have a custom page, but dynamic content.
i.e. say I want to show a trade stats page. Ive found out about custom posts types, but not how to get a page to recognise it.

I could just look up the custom post type, but what if I have a paginated page (for example a tournaments page) cant really use posts for this.

Once I get over those main hurdles, it wouldnt take me long to get things done.

I could do with a geo trading mod. I know Ashwin over at TA has made one and I was in discussion with him and was going to get it but he seems to have disappeared.
