Bit late but,

Could it be that you have an infinite loop somewhere in your script?
It could be 1 person views your site and then some defunct mod/code doesnt finish and sends redirect headers ?

Have you looked at your access log to see if there are any rogue queries ? weird urls ?

Could also be a .htaccess rule that is causing problems.

Its not a simple task, if I was you I would talk with your host and ask them to look for requests per second, CPU spikes etc and the requested url.
You can then dig further into the problem once you know more of where it is coming from.

Normally I would not want this traffic on my server is fine with him, but I can remove VCM as I am afraid I have problems sending fake traffic. I can send the link to post on my management server I do not play the server
