Show number online people in chat

If it's possible, it would be good to show a count of the people online in the chat.
Sometimes i open up the chat to see if anyone is online but nobody really is besides from chatnight i guess..

To get it started or more active it might be a good idea to show the online count of chatters.

If you scroll down to the stats on the forum page, you see the chat online stats

Ah.. didn't see that!
Maybe a good thing to move it up, maybe place it in the header or if possible within the menu: Whats new? - Chat(2) and between ( ) the number of online people?

Yes the "Chat (xx)" would be good but RickyG is not the best in coding
