    Youtube Marketing Strategy

    Hey Guys

I have not been around as much lately lots of offline stuff and we have a new project that we are working on getting started after almost 4 years. I recently done a new post to the FAI newsletter about building a youtube marketing strategy. I am going to do more post on this topic and just try to move on through others over time bit by bit.

Good info in that article. Quick question on using suggested searches, are they viable for targeted traffic even though the YT keyword tool shows not enough data? For example to test it out I tried "mario games" and "sonic games". The top suggested searches for each are "mario games to play online" and "sonic games to play online", neither of which have any allintitle results in normal YT search. This means people are searching those terms just not it high volume?

OK I am going to purely speculate here but I have been tinkering with this on a few sites and so I got a bit of data to base this on so here we go. When thinking about reverse engineering this data I view it from 2 perspectives. Say like RAM ( Random Access Memory ) and ROM ( Read Only Memory ). The instant search is RAM and updated in almost real-time so it is full of HOT and current results. OK now the Keyword suggestion tool is more like ROM a great data store but likely with data that is based on 3 months of compiling. I think that on occasion you can find hot keywords with instant search that might not have enough data to match up with other compiled phrases over 3 months yet or maybe never if it is just a hot news story or something but they are more current and can still be relevant and certainly less competitive so I fish around in there sometimes looking for Gems.

Okay cool, nice analogy. Time to blow the dust off camtasia and have a go at this. Previously YT seemed like a space too tough to compete in.

Effective video marketing help to showcase their products. Marketing video sharing web sites has become one of, if not the most effective technique to promote online business in the world today. Due to the presence of companies stiff competition, it is virtually impossible to run a successful without proper marketing techniques.

effective video marketing is imho important, because most human beings prefer to see products visualised, rather than just looking at a picture or listening to a stream (...).

Effective video marketing,is fine if used correctly.Simply uploading your ad to YT will only benefit YT as they obviously take page rank seeing G own them.Placing the vid on your own site and allowing that to get indexed, prior to any upload will be more beneficial.

Just giving this thread a gentle bump with some results. I followed this guide and uploaded a vid on Feb 26th of this year. The vid is floating between page 1 and 2 of google for the term "Mario games to play" as well as ranking on YT istelf which is awesome. I knew I should have made way more videos thanks again Alfred!

I thought I would start a small series of FAI on the promotion of YT. kids interested in marketing their electronic games or other sites can be found on youtube this surrender to the hand. I refer to the keyword research tool Youtube and using keyword YouTube and other sources to gather some useful information to drive traffic to your site highly contextual.
