Twitter, is it working out for you?

I never used twitter, I just read always “follow me I follow you” and then he follow and follow…

Is this working out for your arcade site?
Do you get traffic thru this?
Do you get backlinks for SEO?

As a owner of forums, it works for me. I setup my forums to RSS feed the twitter account...so it is like auto pilot. Every post here will end up on twitter. I will have 20+ spiders hit the forum after it is feed to Twitter.

Now...here is the other side.
I have 100 Twit Friends" ( they must follow you to see your twits)
If they see something that interests them...the can do a REtwit.
If they also have 100 followers...they all see that twit
If 2 of their folowers like it...they do a retwit and each also have 100 followrs......see where I am going here?

Lets take it further AGAIN as a forum owner. Some of those folks like the post, they might sign up or use the info on their site and HOPEFULLY give your site a link and credit.

It works for forums and blogs....would like to hear from Arcade owners.

I actually got banned from using twitter. lol I was testing tweeting about justin bieber game on gamesfiend.com and within 2 minutes of tweeting and tweeting to people I receiced over 1k hits and they all stayed to play. But then twitter banned my account for spam (which I did not!!!!!) so yeah Im not a huge fan of using twitter, but I like Ricky's idea about the automation.

How can we do this with our arcades?

Yes the RSS feed is the way to go, I will try it out with my WP and Arcadem Pro arcade and see how it goes, hope one day to get RSS for ATS.

My first twiiter account Myarcadegames now I wait if this works with the RSS, signed up on twitterfeed bud they write RSS update every hour.
