Ideas to increase revenue

Hey Guys and Gals,

Im looking for ideas to increase income. I focus mainly on 1 site atm and have that feed my other sites.

I was doing quite well until MMOTraffic bottomed out and sales went to down.

With adsense, im now getting some days where clicks are £0.00 and average out at 1 or 2 pence up to 4 pence. (im in the UK lol)

Ive tried Ad4game, sent around 150k impressions and a few k clicks and barely made anything.

Im using CPMstar, but that only really works out if you generate leads to the CPA ads.

I use Bannerflux publisher, Funklicks publisher, arcadetraffic publisher (testing).

Im also trying EpicGameAds (popups) which doesnt do too bad, but tends to only show 1 ad per visit, but not per site, so if you send them through your own network you wont get a second popup view) I did try rotating my own popup with this, but doesnt work out so well.

But seperating revenue betweens sites means it takes longer to get to withdrawl/payment limits.

So my question is, what advices would you give to try and increase revenue.

Im slowly driving my traffic back to my sites due to downtime from a server move so the last 1-2 months have really been bad due to sites being offline for a time,

My experience shows that no one pays better than G.
In my opinion you should focus on adsense and drop everyone else. We have our gaming sites for more than 4 years now, and all we use for monetize is Google. The others will pay like 80% less for clicks, at least this is how it works for us. We are seeing some significant earnings even with 1c clicks (few thousand clicks per day).

So...long story short - focus on Google.

When you have less than 100k Alexa rank you can also try to get your site branded (they use the space around your site for film or game promotions) - this looks very promising, the ads are huge and very catchy.

Hey Igri,

Thanks for your reply, as mentioned Adsense was giving 0c clicks, so was testing other avenues.
As well as all the worries about placement as well adsense will not always be the most suitable ad company to use.
However, adsense seem to have now added a countries breakdown of clicks/impressions and I can now see which countries are giving 0c clicks
Think im going to start geo targetting banners so tier 3 countries are routed to networks that will actually pay for the clicks.

Does EpicGameAds have standard banner instead of popups or popunders? I am considering use some banner ads above or below the game frame since adsense seems to be not allowed on such places.

I would say that stop practicing blackhat techniques. And just focus on hardwork and practice some white hat SEO. As the time passes, you will start getting your traffic boostup, and so your revenue. Remember, patience, hardwork, and dedication is the key to success.
