Actually, I'm even more pessimistic in my outlook for arcades than RickyG, but for reasons that go far beyond G and its plans. I don't think all arcades will disappear anytime in the near future, but I do question how many, how long, and how do we keep them going. I do have some thoughts along that lines though, which I'm not really ready to discuss except a few close associates who are more likely to think along the lines that I do. I would share them with RickyG if I could actually catch him on IM lol.

I really like your this thread, and your thoughts are so pure and true. I must recommend you(though, who am i to recommend anything to anyone, but my instinct says to do so, so i'm) to start writing something, and one day you'll be a big author. But be cautious, always listen to your heart!
