I was thinking about this, and since your site is a trade site, its finding out.php plugs and gives you a backlink to this. A lot of ats owners will forget to add the code in robots.txt file to disallow spiders to follow those links. Also since Im sure you keep sending them traffic, your site gets listed on their top referrers list which is sitewide. Although they're usually out.php links, I think google is now counting these also. I dont think they hold a lot of true link value but they sure do add up!

I read a thread on another forum where someone asked if it was possible to get 1 million links in 12 months time. Looks like you're well on your way of doing so!

This looks fishy , inform google about it , in many cases google treats so many backlinks negatively and deindex sites compeltely. You must inform them this, kind of figure is unrealistic, if they say its ok then may be its ok, but keep in touch with major search engines.

I didn't do anything fishy, so I don't wory about. It's tru I have a lot of LE with big sites and high PR, I belief Google counts them.

Wow those are great numbers Stephan! I have heard the rumors of Yahoo implementing something similar to bing as well I am not sure of this because it all stems from Constant merger whispers about Yahoo and Big Bill. I can tell you having spent a good while on the stock/forex scene this is a VERY OLD rumor.

Right in front of our very eyes I am watching Google do some amazingly silly things in my opinion. The big story is not Yahoo/Bing I dont think rather it is Google turning their business every wich way but lose on whispers LOL. Google made a HUGE change to their algorithm with caffein and they are reacting to Facebook with that. Then now they are indexing at the speed of light ( reacting to a rumors of yahoo/bing ). I think when you are a market leader you should lead not react to or follow other companies. The backlinks keep pumping in however and as mentioned they are a result of the fact that Many sites can have several THOUSAND games. You can in theory target sites with the most games for sitewide exchanges and get a big bump ( this is an old but still kinda cool trick).

I can’t remember all I did in the last 10 - 12 month since I bought the domain from Aashwin, but what I did must have been good.
