    Whole buncha sites

I just got a notice from our hosting company that they are shutting down our server no later than Aug 25th. This leaves me in a pickle of what to do. Because of this and a very overloaded schedule to where I can't put much time into them, serious consideration is being given to selling the following sites

http://GamersGo.com - FAS with loads of mods.
    http://FunArcadeonline.com - FAS
    http://AddictedDoctorsArcade.com - FAS
http://hangoutarcade.com - onArcade, think the license can be switched to you but not sure.

Adsense banned me a while back and these sites might have been banned specifically. Not all of our sites were, but many. So keep that in mind. There has been almost no promotion of them in a while, and traffic is not high on any of them.

There are other sites on the server that do not belong to me, so I will not be able to grant cPanel access and a cPanel to cPanel transfer can't be done because you would grab the other sites as well. I should be able to move the sites for you though, but it could take a few days(each) because of the sheer size.

HangoutArcade.com is on its own hosting, but I'd have to find the username/password. But its on rather cheap hosting, and if you wanted to take over it, it might be something that can be arranged, maybe.

    Also considering selling

    Sites:
    -------
    http://script-place.com
    http://professionaloffshorebanking.com with professionaloffshorebanking.info domain name
    http://studentloansplace.info
    http://stocksinvestorsite.com

    Domain names only:
    -----------------------
altercoder.com - domain only, not the content.
    auntiefondy.com
    microndasystems.com
    dr-oli.com
    16yd.com
    wiigamersite.com
    wholesaleguide411.com
    financialsgo.com
    americainprophecy.info
    dealfeeds.info
    newestscooters.com
    onlylurking.com

Anybody interested in any of them?

Yea, and this is not something done lightly. But it has not been taken care of because of growing responsibilities. Better it go to somebody who will take care of it, make something better of it.

Thanks. We intend to find them a good home, even if we have to give them away.

The reason they gave is that they do no believe that they can continue to offer quality service. Keep in mind that this is semi dedicated hosting, there should be a very limited number of accounts on this server. They say that when somebody does a backup of their account, or does a cPanel to cPanel move, it crashes the system, and it has crashed a few times. They say that if they were to go with better drives, it would cost a lot more, and the amount of disk space allocated to each would be abridged quite a bit. Sounds to me as though either somebody did some piss poor planning for the server, or(more likely), they are overselling their semi dedicated accounts. Either way does not leave me with a good taste in my mouth.

So, the email was sent out stating that they were no longer going to offer semi dedicated hosting, and the server was going to get shut down no later than the 25th of August. We have 2 accounts on that particular server and, depending on how many files Adam is able to move over to another he has access to for his own sites, about 66 gb total files to deal with. Some really decent people have offered to let us park some on their accounts until we can find a new home, but we would have to move 66 gb of files twice that way, and we have been neglecting these sites for the past few weeks anyways. So, better to just let someone(s) else take over who can work them. We hate to let go, but its for the best of the sites. And some of the domain names we would have let expire as it is. This just seemed an opportunity to offer them up in case anybody else wanted them, and keep them out of squatter hands. So many of the names we'd just give away if somebody wanted them. Some expire in a few days though if anybody does, and we won't be paying to renew. So if anybody wants one of the ones getting ready to expire, better speak up now, or it will, and then you take your chance on being able to snag it before squatters.

Gamers Go is sold, the other arcades are still with us. Some of the domain names have gone away as well. Which were you interested in? Some have been moved and back up and running again. Hangout Arcade and 16yd are now on the same account on one server, which is paid up till Dec 6th I think. Addicted Doctors Arcade and Fun Arcade Online are on a different server under the same hosting account which is paid monthly. I'm not sure which of the non arcade type sites have been set back up again, and which I'm still waiting to find time to. If you are interested in one, I will warn you that I will have to move some of them because there are other sites on the same server that we were not planning on letting go of, nor letting others have access to the files. Fun Arcade Online was the biggest and took me days to upload the files to its current spot, it has over 10,000 games after all.
